About Softail Kittens
All cats that we use for breeding are tested and found negative for felV, fiV and ragdoll HCM1-gene. We also have our breeding cats' hearts & kidneys scanned before matings. We test regularly for ringworm.
Our chocolates & lilacs (or their parents) have been genetically tested to prove the rare colouring.
We find repeated pairings rather as multiplying than breeding and that's why all Softail litters are unique combinations. We believe this benefits the race more in the long run.
Our first priority is to find loving homes for our kittens, where they are not allowed outside unsupervised.
A deposit is required to reserve a kitten.
When moving to their new homes, our kittens are:
- at least 12 weeks old
- TICA-registered, vaccinated twice, dewormed, microchipped & checked by a veterinarian
- well socialized to people, cats and dogs
Our kittens have two year guarantee for hereditary defects - vet/autopsy report is required before refund.
Pet/show neuter kitten's contract contains a condition to spay/neuter the kitten by one year's age.
Breeder kittens are only sold to reputable registered breeders.
We're hoping to hear about our kittens every now and then and we'll try to answer all questions.
